EXCURSIONS OVERVIEW

EVENTS OVERVIEW

EXCURSIONS OVERVIEW

Full advantage is taken of London's vibrant and stimulating museums, galleries and places of historical interest, which are easily accessible from our central location.

In the Spring and Summer Terms, Reception visits are made to Bekonscot Model Village and Bocketts Farm to support classroom projects.

Year 1 and 2 children have a minimum of one educational outing per term. Example destinations are:
Museums, Imax Cinema, Tower of London, Chelsea Physic Garden, Kew Bridge Steam Museum, Windsor Castle, Pantomimes

Year 2 children attend a day's team-building activity. In addition there are regular visits from theatre groups, musicians and speakers.

EVENTS OVERVIEW

Sports Day, Swimming Galas, Nativities, Class Assemblies and Year Group Productions feature amongst the list of annual events. Parents are always welcome to attend.

Individual Year Groups and classes might also organise events to augment the curriculum. For example:
Egyptian Feasts, Teddy Bears’ Picnics, School Garden Activities, Local Allotment Trips

Each term the children are involved in supporting a charity. Usually this supports a charity in our local area.

Parents are kept up-to-date with recent and forthcoming activities in our fortnightly newsletters. These also feature our 'Star Class of the Fortnight' and of course, lots of photographs. We have tried to give a flavour of the events that regularly take place within the School. However please be aware that the events and dates may be subject to change.
